About Me

I think "About this blog" tells a lot about me! About me and cooking, I started cooking when I was very little, mostly under my aji's guidance.

I was such a picky kid that in spite of my mom being an awesome cook, I used to have too many demands when it came to food. My mom gave up quite early on, and used to say, "if you want it any differently, do it yourself"... And thats how I started cooking (not a story I am proud of, nonetheless it led to some good I guess :) )

I feel so proud when relatives and my family tell me that I have my Aji's taste-of-hand :) Thats a BIG compliment. Because I strive to be like her!

well other than that, I am a Food Science graduate student (for the millionth time, its got nothing to do with cooking skills) and a Biotech engineer. Other than cooking my hobbies are creative arts and crafts  (which also I plan to write a blog about, sooner or later). I currenty live in NJ, USA and go to Rutgers. Soon going to be looking for a job in the Food Industry!
